Courage to Dream: A Black History Month Celebration

“Courage to Dream” will tell the courageous faith stories of Black and Brown immigrants who have journeyed to Worcester County in search of a better life. Through performances by local artists, actors, choirs, and culinary creatives, we will celebrate their resilience and contributions.

In addition to several powerful performances, an Art Gallery will be open before and after the show, displaying artwork from local artists celebrating African American History.

The show will begin at 6PM with a musical play featuring local actors and performers.

A small expo with local food vendors from the diaspora and local community service vendors will be open pre and post show until 9PM

Artists include:

  • Kirosha – Local recording artist and founder of Kingdom Voices & Music
  • Amanda Shea – Award winning poet
  • Mandel Ropario – Extraordinary instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, producer
  • 5th Blend – Local a cappella group
  • Kings Kids – Worcester County Community Children’s Gospel Choir
  • SLA Voce
